Epcot, Disney World

Disney World - Epcot - Spaceship Earth - at main entranceEpcot is the most unique theme park in the Disney World collection with rides, exhibits, and shows you can’t find in any other Disney property.

The park is a permanent World’s Fair with a Disney flair. As you enter, you are presented with Spaceship Earth, a huge sphere you walk into and ride through human history.

On either side of Spaceship Earth, you will come across Future World (East and West sections). The exhibits demonstrate the latest technologies and allow visitors to interact with hands-on experiments.

In the West section, the Land Pavillion is a showcase of human interaction with mother earth. Visitors here can enjoy the flight simulator ride Soarin over the World and a ride through innovations in agriculture.

Kensington Market Food Tour

Toronto Kensington Market - from WikipediaI recently when on a food safari in Toronto with Chopsticks and Forks. We spent 3 hours walking through the Kensington neighborhood and sampling cuisine from 6 different regions of the world.

The Kensington neighborhood is a great example of Toronto’s multicultural nature. As we walked through narrow streets, Victorian homes and colorful storefronts, we were greeted with sights, sounds and smells from around the world.

Toronto, Canada

Toronto skyline with CN towerToronto is the capital city of Ontario province and considered the largest city in Canada with a population approaching 5.6 million. If you count the whole urban area around Toronto then the population increases to 6.5 million.

What distinguishes Toronto from other major urban centers is its multicultural vibe. Everywhere you go you will come across people from all over the world coexisting in peace and harmony.

Niagara Falls, Canada

Niagara Falls Canada - Rainbow pano

Approaching the falls from a distance I started to hear the thunderous roar of millions of cubic feet of water (per minute), dropping from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. Getting closer, I was stunned by the amazing view in front of me.

Three powerful walls of cascading water crashing into the rocks and river way below, the water rushing through the Niagara Gorge and throngs of people mesmerized by the force of nature.
