The Stardust made way to the newest resort in Las Vegas, Resort World, which opened in 2021.
The three towers hold three hotels, Hilton, Conrad, and Crockfords, with a shared resort area with casinos, restaurants, a food court, and swimming pools.
Resort World Las Vegas is an Asian-themed property and includes a large casino.
The "District" is a large retail area with various shops, restaurants, and an LED Globe measuring 50 feet (ca. 15 m) in diameter. The Globe stands 40 feet (ca. 12 m) high and has 8,640 triangular LED panels, which project interactive images with a 20-million-pixel resolution.
The Globe plays a digital light show every hour on the hour. You can also catch the show from several locations throughout the resort.
The resort also includes meeting and banquet space, a massive pool complex with nine pools, and a spa.
The Stardust resort is not totally lost to history. 100s of trees were salvaged from the hotel and are used to decorate the new property.
We recently stayed at the Hilton Resort World and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the view from our window overlooking the pools was remarkable.
Exploring the resort and discovering all the restaurants and shops took some pleasurable time.
We also loved the free self-parking, and check-in and check-out were effortless – the staff was always friendly and helpful.
The only drawback is that the property is away from all the activity on the strip. The address is still on Las Vegas Blvd, but it is more due south and closer to Circus Circus.
